Working on a sleek, sexy automotive piece was a ton of nostalgic fun, having done some of that in the past. I specifically got to help out on choreographing the pre-recorded Rocket League gameplay reflections on the surfaces of the car. The footage began as 4K gameplay footage that was recorded inside a custom greenscreen Rocket League stadium. From there, we keyed out the footage in After Effects, textured it onto an emissive reflection card in Cinema 4D, and rendered it in Octane. Short but sweet piece. Was awesome to see premiere at the 2018 Game Awards live!
