It was an honor to be apart of the design partner team for the PromaxGames 2018 Summit held in San Francisco. This was a unique journey for the team at Capacity because we chose to create the opening titles in an exciting new medium: Unreal Engine. The technical hurdles we faced were quite challenging at times, naturally learning a new piece of software. We eventually ended up with a quite refined pipeline of animating and creating in Cinema 4D, exporting out very specific FBX's, and importing everything into Unreal - where it then lived in a real time game engine. Although the opening titles "game" never existed in a playable form, the San Francisco skyline and game genre inspired world taught us a lot along the way and ended up being a super creative team effort to have worked on.
